RecorderSue Posted May 1, 2015 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Did anyone get an email recently from first utility suggesting that their monthly direct debit would have to go up because of a massive overspend? I did. They had emailed me that I would have overspent by over ?300 by the end of last month and proposed raising my DD by 60% . I rang them and got a different story. It was a mistake, I was about ?20 IN CREDIT and they had already taken one increased DD. So they have promised to restore my DD amount to the original. Just wondered of anyone had a similar story.
