My husband and I (plus two young children) are looking to rent for 2-6 months (we're flexible) from mid-June 2015. Ideally, we'd like an unfurnished 3 bed flat or house (or 2 bed plus study space) with a garden in the North Dulwich, East Dulwich or Herne Hill area.   I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.

  Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance. The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.

  I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
