2-3 bed terrace house in East Dulwich

I'm looking for people to join me and others in purchasing The East Dulwich Hotel so we can redevelop it back into a terrace of 4 affordable 2-3 bed houses. You could just invest some money in the project for a % return, or you might want to buy one of the 'shells' to turn back into a house yourself (or have it redeveloped for you by me - I trained as an architect, and have renovated a few houses in the area). Group buying property like this is about the only way you can afford a house in East Dulwich these days. We already have a few people intersted and we just need a few more to join the group and make it all possible.

Interested?

HI There

I very very interested in this!. Sounds a great project I live in Dulwich and also have a big building background and would be interested in potentially investing or buying one of the shells. I am happy to meet or chat and can get me on 07792 236379 or simply message me.

Many thanks

Dan

    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
    • Could East Dulwich or Forest Hill work? Some properties on Underhill Road and Wood Vale have large gardens e.g.  https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/161079866#/?channel=RES_BUY  You'd be close to the Horniman, Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye. Transport might not be what you're looking for though e.g. a 15 minute walk to Forest Hill station for the East London line or mainline into London Bridge.
    • I would leave London, or at a push move back to north London. In SE London if you want to get away in a car you are trapped, always an hour to go the first 10 miles, chugging up to the M4 or round the south circular, which is really just a line someone drew connecting a load of roads. and I know there are trains but first you have to get to those mainline stations, unless you only want to leave London to go to Kent. which I don't.
    • It was you who  made it personal in the first place,  Jazzer. You said you didn't feel safe in the streets,  and you said you didn't go to Central London because you didn't feel safe there. So are you now saying that wasn't "personal"? "Fire from the hip." Another interesting choice of words 🙄 I'm not "demanding" anything! I asked you some perfectly reasonable questions in  response to your own statements. None of which you have answered. Never mind. It seems to be pointless having a discussion with you. It's long past my bedtime. I'm going to turn on my sleep app  and go to sleep 😴💤
