I note that the Nooks and Corners section of Private Eye has followed up their piece on the concrete house last month with a piece on the church opposite, after being pointed in that direction by 'a reader'. Was it a forum-ite I wondered?

In a nut-shell it points to more foot-dragging by Southwark council over a listed building.

Is that the church on the corner of the South Circular, near the entrance to the woods?

I thought it was still in use by an evangelical group. I sat at the back of one of their services (not sure if they call them that) with some friends after a walk in the woods one day. Much to their probable bemusement.
