Hi there!

I visited my friend who lives in ED last weekend and popped down by the Saturday market to get some treats to take back home with me. I came across the Raw vegan sweets stall, and decided to give it a try having always been rather skeptical about vegan food (I am not a vegan myself!). I must say I was absolutely amazed by how tasty they were and knowing that all the ingredients are organic and healthy (and also sugar-free and dairy-free) is definitely a BIG BONUS!! I got a slice of the Mango cheesecake and some raw Snickers bars and completely demolished them on my way back home (I even forgot to leave a piece for my partner to try!). Anyway, does anyone know if that stall is there every Saturday as I am looking to come down this weekend again and by enough goodies for the both of us!!!

      My point was in response to this:  "The idea that serving as a local councillor (including dealing with the public, internal party politics - which is always the most vicious where the stakes are lowest, and plenty of unpaid prep work) is a great pathway for careerists and moneygrabbers is utter shite. On a per hour basis you'd be far better off working at Sainsbos."   You could give up your job at sainsbury's and do a councillor's work and be very much better off. Most of these councillors earn this sort of money and still have full time jobs on the side.

      No. The pool changing rooms are unaffected.   The gym changing rooms (aka dry side) are being refurbished.

      Thanks for the link Dave. For clarity, the document shows that he receives the standard basic allowance all councillors get and a Senior Responsibility Allowance commensurate with the post he held. He claims no other allowance or any expenses as far as I can see... which makes me wonder what your point might be?
