I'd like to highly recommend Dave and Lee from D&L Landscapes who built our garden fence from scratch last week. We are extremely impressed with the quality of their work, their attention to detail and professional judgement - and so are our neighbours who have just asked them to replace their fence, too.

Sadly this was not my experience today. We agreed a time for Lee to provide a quote for decking and I rearranged my day to accommodate this. When he hadn't appeared half an hour after the appointed time I sent a text to which he didn't have the courtesy to respond. Such a waste of my valuable weekend free time and it doesn't reflect favourably on the firms reliability. Customer contempt.

      ...and so, 4 years on from the "dramatic planning meeting" that approved the "meganursery", how has it all worked out in reality? The building looks nice from the outside - but I don't know anything more. Did either of the nursery businesses on EDG fail because there was no demand for nursery places in East Dulwich? Did Carmageddon on East Dulwich Grove get worse? Were pre-COVID work patterns abandoned forever (lol)?       If I don’t feed the birds, they’ve actually come and perched on the fence and stared directly at me through the window. The squirrels do that too.

      I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well).  Delivered by bike.
