Babysitter/nanny available

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am 18 years old and have been regularly babysitting (evenings, after school pickups and full days with outings) for about 2 years now. I have cared for children ranging from 6 months to 12 years and consider myself excellent with kids, kind, caring and responsible. I love cooking, so making meals wouldn't be a problem, I'd also be willing to do some limited housework and cleaning if necessary (dog walking etc included; I love animals!) I have completed my A Levels so I am available full time or part time to work very flexible hours. I am based in forest hill, but would be willing to travel a little bit (although I don't drive). I am fun, energetic, sporty and friendly. I charge ?10 an hour, please get back to me if you would be interested in any kind of childcare! I am available from now up to September (as I start university in September)on all days apart from Monday's and Wednesday's.

Thank you

Millie

Hi Millie

I have a five-year-old and an 18-month-old and I am looking for some help 2-3 days per week for the second week of July and the first three weeks of August. I would be interested to find out your availability and to have a chat with you if this sounds of interest. I live in North Dulwich and my name is Tara Nicholas. My mobile is 07815783232.

Many thanks,

Tara

    • Charity shops have really good board books, especially St Christopher's
    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
