Unless you're doing work for no money, then this is a business http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1414202 . Even if it's part time, or a side line, it's still a business and repeatedly advertising your services on the forum is not allowed.

Although your rules state only East Dulwich-based businesses may advertise themselves on the forum, I live on the boundaries at Oaks Avenue, SE19 and - depending on who you speak to - this is either East Dulwich or Crystal Palace. Estate Agents often classify us as the former, and we have the East Dulwich branch of Teddies nursery at one end of our street. And yet, I'm apparently not East Dulwich enough for this forum as I had my posting removed from the site yesterday (admittedly I'd accidentally piggy-backed someone else's thread, but I emailed admin as soon as I realised my mistake). Could you please clarify? Perhaps you could institute a kind UN-style "buffer zone" for those of us living in the disputed territories....a safe haven where we won't get turned away?

I think maybe you're confusing East Dulwich and West Dulwich. My sister lived just around the corner from you and fell between the postcodes of Crystal Palace and West Norwood but was close to West Dulwich.

    • Useful link, thanks. I see that neither of the Dulwich Hill councillors are standing again but one of the new Labour candidates for DH recently left the Lib Dems… The Greens are led by someone who left the Lib Dems and full of people who left Labour. Reform is full of those who left the Tories. And the Tories are full of those who left our planet some time ago. Confused? You will be!
    • I'm sorry to learn that though Liam does seems well qualified. Hopefully with McAsh gone, Southwark Labour will turn to Charlie to fill the gap.
    • As I understand it Charlie Smith did put himself forward for selection in GG but Labour members chose someone else to represent them, Liam McGrath https://southwarklabour.com/our-candidates/   It'll be interesting to see if there are other defections - surely the Greens want a drip, drip, drip of news from now to May suggesting the momentum is with them.
    • Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact us directly at [email protected] or 020 8613 6500 and we'll be really happy to help.
