oimissus
I know this isn't anything to do with having a family (unless that's the cause...!)I've now got to the point where I just can't ignore all the grey hairs, but the amount of hair dyes out there is leaving me boggled (I haven't dyed my hair since I was a goth in 1989). Any recommendations would be very gratefully received. If it helps, I have short, curly, very very dark brown hair. I was thinking of having a midlife crisis and dying it pink or somesuch, but apparently my hair is so dark I'd have to bleach it first, which sounds like a hassle too far.cheers all. slh2009
I use Naturtint from Holland and Barrett which gives good coverage and lasts quite well but does take longer to develop than some others. I also use Clairol Root touch up which is very quick and effective when you are in a hurry. Not sure either do pink tho...! EDmummy
Depends on the scale of the 'problem'. I've been going grey since my early 30s and it takes a lot of maintenance. I would suggest having a consultation with Amy at Willis B. She's amazing and will assess your best route with pragmatism and sesitivity. I personally would shy away from a standard hair dye approach that uses ammonia- I use Inoa and my hair is strong, healthy and natural looking. I'm very grey so have my central (parting roots) done every 5 weeks (a smudge) and only have the full re-growth done a few times a year. I also have very dark hair.
