TJ
Dear Forumites - Please excuse this abuse of local goodwill. On 26th April this year (next weekend!) my sister in law is running the London Marathon in aid of the Hepatitis C Trust. She is not a runner and therefore will need all the help and support as she tries to raise a total of ?5000 for the charity which offers help to those who suffer from this illness. This is a critical time for the charity as new treatments are in development and funds are needed to get them through the approval process and available to sufferers as soon as possible.Would you be able to sponsor her?If you are able to or if you would like to know more about the Hepatitis C Trust, please visit her donations page at www.justgiving.com/natalienicholson1Admin - pls hold off lounging this for as long as possible - and thank you all for your support!TJ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6031-hepatitis-c-marathon-sponsorship-wanted/ Share on other sites
dulwichmum
Dear TJ,I would like to applaud your sister. The Hep C Trust is the most worthy charity. I know Charles Gore the CEO very well, and he is tireless in his work to raise the profile of this debilitating chronic illness. Best wishes,DM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6031-hepatitis-c-marathon-sponsorship-wanted/#findComment-193576 Share on other sites
TJ
Many thanks - It is indeed very under exposed considering the 200 million sufferers and I don't think most people realise its effects can be terminal..Please dig deep.
