Hepatitis C (marathon sponsorship wanted)

Dear Forumites - Please excuse this abuse of local goodwill.

On 26th April this year (next weekend!) my sister in law is running the London Marathon in aid of the Hepatitis C Trust. She is not a runner and therefore will need all the help and support as she tries to raise a total of ?5000 for the charity which offers help to those who suffer from this illness. This is a critical time for the charity as new treatments are in development and funds are needed to get them through the approval process and available to sufferers as soon as possible.

I would like to applaud your sister. The Hep C Trust is the most worthy charity. I know Charles Gore the CEO very well, and he is tireless in his work to raise the profile of this debilitating chronic illness.

Many thanks - It is indeed very under exposed considering the 200 million sufferers and I don't think most people realise its effects can be terminal..
