wee quinnie
Sorry to bore you, but....I keep getting "Dell Media direct" insistently popping up on my laptop. Does anyone know how to suppress it? SeanMacGabhann
that happened to me for the first time ever this week - how odd. I closed it down and haven't seen it again (but then I haven't rebooted). If it happens again I'll get rid of it properly and let you know. Only by then, Iimagine several other people will have helped you out.. jaybee82
Its the annoying (and in my opinion completely pointless) Media Direct partition that most new Dell machines come with. Not an awful lot you can do to get rid of it besides repartition your hard drive (mucho aggro), though you can stop the notifications in the software. If you go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel you may even be able to uninstall the software controlling it.
