gjtango
Saw this on the back end of my run this morning - opposite Williamson Court on the Rye Pub side of the park. Massive old tree it looked like. Anyone else noticed this? Will definitely be ringing up/writing to Southwark asking them why on earth they've felled it, unless it's been deemed dead... treehugger
Think it fell down last night in the storm.... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/60700-felled-tree-edge-of-peckham-rye-park/#findComment-854207 Share on other sites
Peckhamrye
It was felled months ago, it was a very sickly horse chestnut - a sad loss but necessary I think. I live in Aura Court so have observed its decline over the last few years.
