Due to an unexpected house move, we're having to cancel the first part of our summer holiday in our lovely 5 bedroomed villa in Mallorca with huge garden and pool. We're an East Dulwich family and rent the villa commercially, plus locally to other East Dulwich families who highly recommend it - and this is our preference!

The house is in a fabulous area, walkable to Pollenca old town, and set in beautiful countryside with stunning safe beaches nearby. It is now available from 18th to 27 or 28th july ?2400 per week. See website www.villapascali.com.

  ...and so, 4 years on from the "dramatic planning meeting" that approved the "meganursery", how has it all worked out in reality? The building looks nice from the outside - but I don't know anything more. Did either of the nursery businesses on EDG fail because there was no demand for nursery places in East Dulwich? Did Carmageddon on East Dulwich Grove get worse? Were pre-COVID work patterns abandoned forever (lol)?   If I don’t feed the birds, they’ve actually come and perched on the fence and stared directly at me through the window. The squirrels do that too.

  I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well). Delivered by bike.
