Focus for this one is "Young People", so you can all go and have a moan about them.

Oh - maybe that's not the point. Also is discussion with police and Safer Neighbourhood Team and Warden updates and their presentation on their new powers. (They have XRay Vision now!)

Also, Peckham and Nunhead Area Action Plan Update, and car clubs.

"If you are a Southwark Resident and have paid someone to look after your children or an elderly depdenant or a dependant with disabilities, so that you can attend this meeting, you may claim an allowance from the council. Please collect a claim form from the clerk at the meeting."

I mean, there really is no excuse! Except for me. I'm working. Still, done my bit and told you lot about it. Now I am off to the pub.

    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
    • This is a bit outside our area, but I'm posting in case .... Last night (Sat.20 Dec), around 10.30, we saw a cat hit by a car in St Norbert Road, SE4.  We took him to the out of hours vet in Beckenham, where they confirmed that he had died.  They will see if he is microchipped, and contact the owner if so.  They were very kind.   He was a lovely cat, grey and white.  He must have died very quickly.  So sorry to be the bearer of bad news 😞 The vet is Medivet in Beckenham, tel: 0208 650 2003.
