Come and join our lovely house in East Dulwich! We have a large partly furnished double bedroom on the first floor (chest of drawers / bookshelf will stay and bed is optional).

We are a friendly and relaxed bunch, working in HR, teaching and PR and often cook together, enjoy a glass of wine or pop to one of the many surrounding pubs.

The location is brill, just off Lordship Lane (at the good/northern end) with its tempting selection of restaurants (now including a Franco Manca, about 100m from the house), great pubs, gyms and the soon to open Picturehouse Cinema.

The house is pretty big, with a good size living room, nice open kitchen/dining area and a garden at the back. There's actually has 5 bedrooms, but only 4 are rented so there's plenty of storage or space for friends to kip. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath, and there is an extra toilet. We have all the mod cons with wifi, sky TV and that sort of thing. Bills come to roughly 100 per month, which also includes a cleaner twice a month.

Please just pop over a message if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Neil

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
