The Standard story will now appear tomorrow. Hopefully this means it will be able to cover this afternoon's debate. Helen Hayes spoke about the campaign, which was great. She and Harriet Harman are talking to Kings on Friday.

Here is the Standard story. I so hope that the message gets through about the importance of keeping these specialist midwives at the breastfeeding service. Calling them back to labour ward makes no sense when some haven't delivered a baby for over ten years. Surely our community is best served focusing such rare expertise where it is most needed.

The campaign was featured in the Guardian on Monday! It's a nationwide issue.

There will be a protest outside Kings next Wednesday (8 July) at 10am. If you can, please come along and lend your voice.

    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
    • Nice that the drinks have started up again. I used to arrange them when they first started and I met some good friends through them. We used to get 30+ people going at one point. The karaoke night at The Wishing Well was very memorable!
    • Yes, absolutely! in comparison to now, you are 100% correct!
