Recommendation- new water mains

Hi - were in the process of a complete renovation and having been using a lot of reccomendations posted here I also wanted to add a reccomendation for quite an obscure trade myself. We're installing a new Megaflo and needed a new wider bore mains feed to replace the old lead feed. We were quoted crazy prices (>?2k) and then I found Gary at www.trenchdoctor.co.uk on the list of Thames water approved contractors. They installed a complete new mains feed across my quite long front garden (using an underground mole- so no need for complete trench) for ?550. Complete with Thames water sign off and 15 year guarantee. Great, prompt service and a fraction of the price that some people would quote- recommended if you're about to embark on a renovation or need a new mains feed.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
