Hello all,

My name is Tristan Shone and I am 14 years old and will be 15 in August. I'm looking for a job of any sort as I'd love to gain some experience in the world of work as well as earning money for myself. I am very adaptable and keen to do any job. I am free on the weekends and during the majority of the school holidays. I am fairly tall for my age at 6ft and I'm very active and fit. I am fluent in French and highly competent in both Spanish and German. I would be more than happy to do babysitting as I am a very friendly and caring young man who is great with kids and I have a little brother (aged 7) who I have looked after during the evenings many times. If anyone could point me in the direction of a job as well I would be extremely grateful. My CV is attached and if anyone has any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks,

Tristan Shone

Dear Tristan

I am afraid I don't have anything myself at the moment and I hope you get a good response to a well written pitch, but you might want to check whether your CV has survived the upload. I tried to open it and it has come out as gobbledy gook - I am on a Mac but I don't think that should make a difference.

Will certainly be in touch if something comes up.

    • I was bitten by a smallish dog (black terrier type), in lead, yesterday afternoon (Monday 2 March, approx 1.15pm) at the corner of Heber Road and Cyrena Road.  Nothing too serious, but I have a small wound on my calf and a hole in my jeans. The owner (a middle aged woman) couldn't control her dog, pretended it didn't happen and did a runner.  I managed to take a picture of her as she walked away.  Not a great picture but if you recognise her could you please DM some info so I can report the incident?  If only to ensure that she is spoken to, as this is obviously a dangerous dog and is not under control... Many thanks.
