Saw Dakhabrakha at West Holts yesterday. An amazing Ukranian folk quartet. The best act so far.

Gave Muse a miss but heard they were brilliant, great showmanship.

Whilst you're there if you fancy something truly wild, thrilling and savage go and see Warmduscher (just one of Saul Adamczewski's other bands (Fat White Family, Moonlandingz) Sunday 5pm at the Crows Nest and also Sunday 2am at the Gorilla Bar. I doubt very much they'll be shown on TV which is a bloody shame.

Yes bumped into Saul last night and he mentioned it. Love the crows nest, saw another band there on Thursday called The Parrots. Highly recommended.

Saw her on Jools a few months ago. Amazing dance act. Haven't seen the "Glasto" :) set yet.

Their first three or so albums are all dirty bluesy boogie, the metal thing happened later.

Rio Grande Mud, Tres Hombres ... if you like filth, these are good :-)
