Builder/tiler/bathroom renovation

For anyone looking for a tiler to renovate a bathroom, I used Dominic Sadlo and was very pleased. He did a complete redo of our bathroom (underfloor heating, new lights, new ceiling, shower, tiles, etc.) and the quality and price were excellent. He was also quite reliable. He said he would come on a certain day and take 8 days to finish it, and that's exactly what he did (without leaving the last 5% unfinished, which every tradesman seems to do!) He and his partner also kept the dust and dirt to a minimum, something my hyper-clean wife appreciated. We also got the electrical certificates for the wiring, something this hyper-safety conscious husband appreciated. Dominic also does general building work; I think he is working on a side extension at the moment, for example. His number is 07884 056228. You can reference the Beauval Road bathroom job he did.

    • You have to use the right extinguisher for the type of fire - water/foam not to be used for live electrical fires for example. A quick Google says powder extinguishers can be used on the most different types of fire. In a public/commercial setting fire extinguishers have to be serviced every year. Not sure the recommendation for residential ones, but when you buy extinguishers and fire blankets check if there's an expiry date.
    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
