Having taking a look at the photo of the guy on the Pickwick website, I feel I wouldn't trust the guy with ?4.20, let alone 42k.

I don't think an accurate assessment of a person's trustworthiness can really be made from a photo on a web site.

I use Pickwicks to let my property and have found Adam to be very trustworthy and easy to deal with.

Lawyers are only so good.

A friend who was selling her home found she had sold her home and received no money.

The lawyer went bankrupt when her money was in the lawyers account following the transaction.

A crooked system which should not be perpetuated in my opinion.

i have to agree it is a crooked system but not nearly as crooked as this guy's smile. I would go along witb previous comment and say that to trust him with that much money is an accident waiting to happen.

He does bring to mind the expression 'Would you buy a used car from this man?'. I can't think why.
