A really lovely bright and sunny 2 double bedroom flat on the first floor of a Victorian style block of 6 flats on one of the most sought-after roads in central East Dulwich. The building is newly built in the traditional Victorian style featuring high ceilings and big sash windows overlooking gardens in both bedrooms. The front sitting room is spacious and inviting with an archway into the open-plan kitchen. The bathroom has a bath and built-in shower & shower screen within it, a WC and basin - all tiled white. The rest of the flat is carpeted and decorated neutrally to a high standard. A very happy and inviting home. The flat has its own private video entry phone and the building is managed by a company in East Dulwich. Only 5 mins walk to East Dulwich Station, shops, restaurants, Saturday market and new cinema. Rent is ?1595pcm Unfurnished (but includes washing machine and new boiler). Available 8th August 2015 (possibly earlier). Flat has been updated since photo's taken but gives an idea. • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
