If you're having a house sale etc and you're putting up paper signs on trees, rails etc. do please take them down afterwards: it's a reasonable request. It's bad enough the council not removing those yellow laminated A4s after the statutory three weeks are up.

I seem to remember that sticking flyers to lamp posts, telegraph poles, and trees is illegal.
