We had a fun day out today - cable car from Royal Victoria to the O2, a play in the fountains there followed by lunch, then a boat to London Bridge. My parents are visiting from NZ and it made for a relatively inexpensive way to see London from a different perspective. Kids (8.5, 7 and 3.5) loved it.

I'm sure it's possible, but have a look here for more details:

For children who can cycle there's a really lovely, not too taxing, cycle ride from Tonbridge to Penshurst (lovely castle / stately home with FABULOUS play area and gardens). You can get to Tonbridge by train from West Dulwich (one easy change). The cycling is pretty much ALL off road and there's also an open air swimming-pool at Tonbridge.

    • The residents & families of the estate are getting parking fines,  out of the blue , the residents parking system waa changed from Southern to Sippi with cameras put up in the car park and people issued with fines entering the estate for more then 10 minutes , families can no longer pick up or drop off family due to a new 10 minute wait fine. Residents are appealing with Sippi and Southern as there was no letters to consult of a parking change,  new waiting times or fines, delivery drivers are getting fines everyday,  if you get a fine,  appeal it, there is no signage up to say about parking fines or waiting time

    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.
    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
