curiousgeorge11
Hi,Sorry to gatecrash this thread, but I am currently considering a trip to London zoo via tube. Does anyone know if this is possible with a buggy (Step-free) at London Bridge and Baker St? Thanks, and sorry Dibden! Pickle
We had a fun day out today - cable car from Royal Victoria to the O2, a play in the fountains there followed by lunch, then a boat to London Bridge. My parents are visiting from NZ and it made for a relatively inexpensive way to see London from a different perspective. Kids (8.5, 7 and 3.5) loved it. minder
Godstone Farm isn't far out of London and has everything for young toddlers/children. curiousgeorge11
Godstone Farm is great - also, check out the National Trust - there are some great places in London as well as few which should be easily accessible by train. Box Hill is amazing. bawdy-nan
Godstone Farm and Box hill both lovely, for sure, but a little tricky (if not impossible?) without a car... bawdy-nan
For children who can cycle there's a really lovely, not too taxing, cycle ride from Tonbridge to Penshurst (lovely castle / stately home with FABULOUS play area and gardens). You can get to Tonbridge by train from West Dulwich (one easy change). The cycling is pretty much ALL off road and there's also an open air swimming-pool at Tonbridge.http://www.tmbc.gov.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0020/44552/tonbridgeleaflet.pdf Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/66303-no-car-fun-days-out-in-london-with-young-kids-ideas/page/2/#findComment-875834 Share on other sites
