Room wanted, from early August

Recommended Posts

My 23 year old sister has just started an internship in central London and is looking for a double room to rent, within 5-10 minutes walking distance of Brixton underground. She's currently in East London but looking to relocate South in early August. Her interests include music, fashion, cooking and socialising. She would like to find a room in a house share with likeminded people who share her interests. Maximum rent ?650 including bills.

Feel free to PM me and I can pass on details or I can send you her email address to send her the details directly.

Thanks.

She is still looking for a room. Also consider areas surrounding Brixton so long as there are good tube links to Oxford Circus. I know it's not Dulwich but hoping someone knows of someone with a room or leaving a room share before it goes to market as we are finding everywhere goes within hours of being listed on sites such as spareroom.

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
