Uni student looking for odd jobs and babysitting

Recommended Posts

I am a 20 year old Interior Design student looking for work over the summer holidays. I've worked at Stagecoach Theatre Arts Ltd in Dulwich for 3 years as an Early Stages Assistant so am very experienced with children aged 4-7. Teaching drama/dance/singing and studying a creative degree, I would be the perfect babysitter for creative and imaginative children who like performing/making things. I can also help with learning piano or singing.

Can do admin work or any other odd jobs you need help with.

Hi Ruby,

I've just seen your advert on the Forum. I'm just about to send out an advert but thought I would email you in the first instance. Basically, I'm an office manager at an Architectural firm called 'RDA Architects'. We are based on Lacon Road here in East Dulwich. We're a small, busy, very friendly team with a good roster of projects and I really need some help over the Summer holiday period. Ideally I need someone in for two days a week to help out with admin work. The main tasks will involve filing and helping me get the office in order as we are preparing to move to a bigger office based on Forest Hill Road. I see you are an Interior Design student and apart from architecture we also do a bit of interior design so this may be something you would be interested in?

I look forward to hearing from you.

With kind regards

Zoe Barnard

    • Hi  I have a spare old wheelbarrow that you could have for free. You’d need to come and collect it from Telegraph Hill, so drop me a message if you’re still looking and we can arrange a time best wishes carrie
    • This is quite a serious allegation. What evidence is there of this? Pressured how and by whom? This is quite a spin on ‘it’s been agreed with the emergency services’. They think the vehicles pictured driving through with partially covered plates are the result of ‘poor signage’ 🤔  If it is as they say ‘small numbers’ driving through the square, that doesn’t suggest that the signage is unclear. I mean who honestly believes it’s possible to drive through there without noticing the signs / planters (assuming you’re driving with due care and attention)?! 🤨  Also, haven’t ‘One’ opposed any improvements to the layout / landscaping and signage proposed by Southwark? It’s all a bit desperate. At the height of the LTN ‘controversy’ a number of co-ordinated ‘One’ groups popped up and were encouraging supporters to travel to protests across London. It doesn’t feel like a local grassroots movement, but has all the hallmarks of astroturfing. The lack of transparency about it’s funding / sponsorship and structure does not help with this impression.
    • Hi there, My children and I are adopting 4 ex-battery hens and seeking a secondhand home for them, let me know if you have anything, of any style that might fit four feathered ladies in. I can collect at your convenience this weekend or during the week.    Warmest, Hannah
