Our nanny -

A year and a half ago we were so fortunate to come across a young lady called Stacy who was starting out her career as a nanny. We were introduced to her through a friend. She started with us just before I went back to work and I could not have been more nervous leaving my little one with someone.

Stacy has been the most incredible nanny to our daughter. She has looked after her from 11 months old to two and a half. She has become an integral part of our family and I have watched my little baby girl develop into a toddler with a wonderful personality and sense of humour. I have no doubt Stacy has played a huge part in that.

At 30 years old she is mature and sensible but has a wonderful energy and sense of fun. Our daughter bounds down the stairs each morning to see her and waves me off at the window without a care :( because they have such a lovely time together. They do everything from play dates to going into town to the science and transport museum. She cooks her nutritious meals (our freezer full of them) and is always trying new things. She cares for her development and whenever we've had issues with teething, sleeping I get sent links to articles on whatever the issue is because she's been looking into it on the lunchtime nap. I often get texts during my working day from mums I'm friends with locally saying they saw her with our girl in the park or at a group/class and how great she is with her. She is a natural with kids ? she has grown up in a family who foster kids (she has a five year old sister) and being a natural with little ones is second nature to her.

I have a pretty demanding career which is why we went down the nanny route and I can honestly say it was the best decision we made. In a year and a half Stacy has not had one day off. Even turning up when she was clearly poorly. Her reliability and flexibility has enabled me to go back to work in full, getting promoted within the year ? something I would not have thought possible before going back.

We are moving out of London to be closer to family and the biggest loss for us will without be Stacy. She has become a huge part of all our lives and are devastated to see her go.

She is looking for a new full time position starting probably mid November depending on our move date. She currently works 55 hours a week for us (8am-7pm) and looking for a position that would give her similar hours. She is a qualified nanny, CRB checked, ofsted registered, first aid trained, full UK driving license etc etc!

If you are interested in getting her contact details please PM me.

Kind regards,

Laura
