Reading the papers this morning... a quote by Antony Gormley caught my imagination... what quotation lights your fire??

"celebrating how each of us is creating or contributing to a possible future, which is shared. That's really the core of it, and it's saying you don't have to be dead, you don't have to be a king, you don't have to have killed anybody; you, in your individual uniqueness, are a critical point in a shared world. And valuable."

Antony Gormley?s ONE AND OTHER project for the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square will be live streamed for 24hrs on 6th July

http://www.oneandother.co.uk/

The plinth will be occupied for 100 consecutive days, 24 hours a day, by members of the public who have volunteered to stand on it for an hour at a time. 2,400 people will be able to participate, they can do, be, what and who every they choose... what a wonderful idea....

    • However, some would particularly like to avoid reviews of the 'there are far too many mice'; 'the cakes are deteriorating badly' nature. If you consider that a 'Negative Nelly' response. My experience was that the hot drinks and the varieties of e.g. teas on offer, were generally a positive element. As were the staff serving.
    • The hare krishna restaurant is called Govindas and still going strong in Soho Street, a different establishment to the one that used to be (still is?) in Hanway Street. I must go back to Govindas some time
    • Its that time of year again, past Christmas day and late delayed cards are turning up. How late are your cards arriving ?  Last year I had one delivered 4 weeks late. Can that be beaten this year ?
    • Sadly, a lot of businesses didn't invite reviews on the EDF at that time due to a number of "negative nellies" that would take delight in posting unfavourable comments, often despite never being to the business in question.  No matter how good the place was, some posters would find fault that wasn't there "don't lile the colour of the bidet set in the private bathroom, avocado 😅" Can hardly blame businesses at the time for not wanting reviews on here, thankfully that has mostly changed now.
