African Late

Thursday 6 August, 6.30-9.30pm

We?ve been looking forward to this Thursday?s after-hours event for a while! Join us for food, drink and performances inspired by the rich culture of Africa and the African Diaspora including the premiere of two new dance works specially commissioned for African Late.

Throughout the evening experience atmospheric live music, beautiful dance in the Gardens, films and documentaries by young African filmmakers, stories in the galleries, street performances and tours. It?s another great chance to explore the Museum and Gardens without children and to kick back and relax with friends.

The Caf? and bars will be open, and African street food available.

Tickets are ?5. Please book your tickets online or tickets will be available on the door. Please note that this event is suitable for over-18s only.

    • Hi all My car was stolen between 1.30pm-1.50pm today in SE22 East Dulwich in South East London. I have of course reported this to the police but not much is being done, so I thought I'd give this a shot. The registration is GM66YOV, though its possible the licence plate may have been changed by now. If you see it anywhere please contact me or the police. Thankyou!
    • Years ago, got my ears pierced, alcohol on site, gun ..done.. Simple.. Gosh, surely your daughter of mothers can recommend  - do you really need to post on forum? Or maybe you home school whatever.. still recovering from shock, posted along the lines of, advice needed about adopting/ buying a dog…. Guess I am now at a age, where I should just keep quiet and pass no comment and read  postings like a “soap” - cheaper than tv licence…
    • Looking for a wrought iron bench with wooden slats in need of restoration - something like this.
    • I would'nt go locally I'd go to Maria Tash in Liberty..it'll be more expensive but they will do a good job and its their buisness not a 'sideline' to other beauty offerings. https://www.mariatash.com/store-locations/maria-tash-london-liberty?srsltid=AfmBOoqMz7Ev-4YqzrlkePX0n3i5JbiggGYSR9kU5z1p_ajP_jjQKqlt I have no experience of piercing at Polished but I went in to enquire about a manicure and I found the staff attitude pretty rude, looking me up and down when I walked in and just giving off a bad attitude like they just could'nt be bothered maybe because I'm not a glam 30 something? I dont know.
