JimH
HelloDoes anyone have any recommendations for skip hire? I just phoned Toulouse and they asked for ?265 + VAT for a regular sized skip (6yd/on the drive so no permit) which seems more than i expected. Is that about right?cheers in advance Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/69362-skip-hire-recommendations-and-prices/ Share on other sites

jlg
Skip prices have gone through the roof lately with constant waste taxes by the government. Always use Latham skips who have always been reliable. http://www.lathamskips.co.uk/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/69362-skip-hire-recommendations-and-prices/#findComment-883408 Share on other sites
JimH
Thank you i will give them a go and see if they can be more competitive Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/69362-skip-hire-recommendations-and-prices/#findComment-883422 Share on other sites
Salsaboy
I've given up getting skips in. You get other peoples crap in them and they are a pain if you can't get it right outside where you're working. I now use a man (licensed waste carrier) who comes and loads it onto his van and takes it away. Danny The Rubbish - 07974 643891. JimH
thanks Salsaboy. i am clearing an attic and so would we just stack everything up (inside presumably rather than on my drive) and he turns up and clears it? sounds like it may be a good alternative. firstchoicegary
I use c and g skips just off Surrey canal road se1 I paid 270 for 12 yard skip on a driveway so ?265+vat for a 6 yard is alot I think. If its not much i.e. an open back back transit load of rubbish ( roughly a ton ) i know a registered rubbish removal guy called Tony 07415533233 he's really friendly and always on time. Ring round is your best bet Jim. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/69362-skip-hire-recommendations-and-prices/#findComment-883948 Share on other sites
