Any pub nearby to watch Gaelic Football?

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if there was anywhere nearby that my brother and I could watch our home county play GAA in the quarter final today? 6pm Donegal V Mayo - should be a tough game!

Yeah, the Canterbury Arms is a great traditional Irish boozer. Helped put on several nights in their back room over the years. Very sad to see it go.

Thanks for the suggestions guys...I'm sold on the Canterbury Arms as its a nice idea to see it once before it closes its doors forever. Its also practical as its situated between my brothers house and mine.

Castle in ED is better though as multi screens showing football in MoK are annoying.

Try calling the castle on Crystal Palace Road. They certainly used to show it.

Called the Castle and they will show it, but it may be on the small screen.

So I'll leave it up to my brother to decide.

Good to know there is something close by though.

The White Horse on the corner of Nigel Road often shows the games - usually a good atmosphere there!

The White Horse is under new management as from to day it might be shut for a bit so best to give them a ring before you go.

I popped into the Alex (Clapham Common) on Saturday - Almost everybody was Irish and in

Gaelic Football tops and everybody was Sozzled.

I joined in.
