NB. Southwark Noise team have told me they've only had 3 complaints about noise related to Alleyns School in 2015 two from the same person. The noise team responded but the noise had stopped.

I can't stress enough that if you don't report the noise it didn't officially happen. That the noise team response is based on number of complaints from different people. Whatever the anti social noise please don't suffer in silence unless you're happy for it to be repeated.

The noise complaint number/teams in Southwark is Tel: 020 7525 5777 and operates:

    • Don't think there'll be much glee around today with what's happened in Poland and France 😕
    • Sounds a horrible, random attack, quite possibly for social media clicks, or some kind of sick initiation into goodness knows what - it is reported they were filming the incident. I do not really doubt that any of this is true. Perhaps the friend who reported it elsewhere does not want to be identifiable? There has been an emerging issue with different types of anti-social teenage/ young adult behaviour on the Rye this summer and this latest incident indicates a tipping point into something much nastier. The park should be a safe and enjoyable space for all.
    • It is back to its proper route. The bus was diverted due to an incident on Pytchley Road yesterday afternoon.
    • In response to Angelina & Sue's queries, it's being reported with an appeal for witnesses in the Southwark News this week, but just as cautiously & with no new information.  https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/peckham/police-appeal-after-reports-of-man-attacked-in-peckham-rye-park/?utm_source=mailpoet&utm_medium=email&utm_source_platform=mailpoet&utm_campaign=the-latest-news-from-southwarknewscouk-2
