Bathroom Advice - Glass Wall Panels or Acrylic/PVC

Hello,

Just wondered if anyone might be able to offer some advice on this. We are doing a bathroom refit and are debating going for either Glass Wall Panels or Acrylic/PVC option as opposed to tiles around the bath. You seem to get a greater scope of colours with Glass however I have been told the Acrylic/PVC options is more durable, cheaper and easier to fit.

I have no idea what is the best option and also I would appreciate recommendations for suppliers of the above products as their seems to be a lot of providers but I am not sure about the quality although I note "Lustrolite" has been recommended as an acrylic option but they don't have many colours.

Many thanks

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
