Lost Dog: Young Staffordshire Terrier

Has anyone lost or know of anyone who has lost a young staffordshire terrier in ED yesterday / today? The dog turned up on our doorstep this morning. An obviously well cared for dog and great nature - someone will be missing a well loved pet. Contact me via forum if any info - many thx

It might be worth taking the dog to a vet - they could scan the dog and see if it is microchipped. They are a very popular breed, do you have more of a description? Male/female, colour, etc?

Hi - yes we've ended up talking to Battersea who have taken him - unfortunately he wasn't chipped. They thought that he'd been very well looked after and that the owners would persevere in tracking him down. We checked with local vets as he's a young dog and would have been in for various jabs etc but no joy. He's dark brown/ black colouring - not quite full height yet.
