We are a professional married couple living in Honor Oak with our daughter who turns three in November. Our daughter will be starting nursery in a Dulwich prep school in September for three days a week where she will eventually learn French. We would like her to start picking up French now but we are an English speaking household. We are looking for a French speaking babysitter for ad hoc babysitting to begin with - maybe a few nights per month initially. I am currently off work but should I be returning, then it is possible we would require more nanny type services with wrap around care on days our daughter is at nursery and possible assistance on other days. If you are looking for flexible babysitting work with the aim of turning it into more permanent work and speak French please get in touch. We are looking for an experienced babysitter/nanny who is ofsted registered and references will be sought. A driving licence and access to own car would be a bonus.

Please PM for further details or to send a CV.

Thanks

    • Fired Earth as a whole went into administration unfortunately - doesn't seem to have been a Dulwich problem specifically. Does anyone know how much the rent is for these Dulwich Village storefronts?
    • It is most likely gas, with what looks like a stop cock, and although the pipe may well have been isolated later from the supply you should get in a gas safe engineer to remove it. At worst it might need to be capped off beneath the floor boards. Don't interfere with it yourself.
    • Sorry, I know this isn't strictly an East Dulwich topic but as there are so many late-Victorian properties in the area I wondered if anyone has seen anything similar in their house and can advise. We have what looks like an old gas outlet on the back wall of our daughter's bedroom which we'd like to remove, but we weren't sure whether it's safe to do so. Do I just call a registered gas engineer to check it out? And is it definitely a gas outlet or might it be something else? It's at floor level so maybe electricity but it doesn't look like any electricity outlet I've ever seen! Has anyone had any experience of dealing with something similar?
    • Just had a look at the above web sites you listed. Mot tax look for free .but you still need to pay to get service results.sàme as the ones I liste
