I see what You both mean...

KalamityKel I see your point and trust me if i say i don t look or sound pervy ( i see what you mean though) and generally I probably would not dare to ask straight away if someone is single.....unless there are huge signs she is not (like a ring on the left hand for instance)

on the other hand i see also Red Devil s point...surely some of them will be happy to show it off..but Finally I agree with Whattajoke...Whats wrong with asking someone if they are single?

...to have a laugh all together i must confess i have been on a date with a very distinctive Young woman(33yo) when i first moved to ED ...

As she asked me (before I managed to get over the first pint) How Much do I earn per year and if i own a house in London....I assume i can ask them if they are single!!;) :) :)

(HOPE YOU READING THIS KATY!!!):)

Wishing all of You a lovely we! Thanx for writing..

Go ahead, chat to a girl, then when it seems like a good time, check out if they are single and do so with a smile.

Given that single girls raise the same problems as you do then why not go for it?

I think many ladies these days find it refreshing when a man is brave enough to ask them out.

Whether she is single or not I can't see that anyone would be offended by a guy taking a shine to them. And if they do take offence then they aren't someone you should worry about! 😉

I don't like being asked if I'm single... there are other ways of addressing the burning Q. Asking such a Q just makes me think "oh dear here we go". Think I'd prefer the get right in there approach - if you wanna ask someone out just do it. Doesn't matter whether they've single or not surely!

..little updating..

I don t think anymore that it will be any useful for me to know about their rings..

..It wouldn t matter anyway if I knew by watching at their hands if they are single or not..

I just need to accept that sometimes (not always ) i am too shy..

\..Yesterday went to the gym where I saw a beautiful blonde blue eyes girl.. and i really fancy her..

...we have been looking at each other in a kind of flirty way for all the time i was at the gym and I noticed she had no rings..

I saw her also sunday before last one and we smiled at each other in a few occasions but still... I wasn t "brave" enough to say something to her...:(

I think i m just very bad :).. with or without ring..

    • One of the best of Shakespeare 's plays.  I did Othello for A level. Also seen a number of stage and film versions. Is there any specific aspects of the play that is difficult for your daughter to understand?
    • @Sue think this is your quote.  It wasn't binary, good Vs bad, and Corbyn had a lot of popular support, as evidenced by the previous election. He had aot of good policies, some picked up by others since. He was defeated by a mixture of a right wing press, good targeting the Johnson 'Get Brexit Done" and for some that Johnson was a funny loveable rogue/fool/liar/philander/opportunist.  I wouldn't see choosing the perceived least worst candidate out of the two major parties as being "good sense'.  We imagine that Corbyn would have been terrible, but we don't know.  He would have taken a stronger line against Israel in Gaza, not sucked up to Trump nut on Russia?  Would the UK be better for that?
    • We have had 4 greyhounds - the last one, a bitch, was not speyed so we  had to pay for that at our local vet.  Only one dog was nervous around children and only one was cat friendly.
    • Apologies on the tardy reply, but thank you everyone for your responses and suggestions! Unfortunately I couldn't attend the recent EDF drinks because of work (I know right). But will absolutely keep eyes peeled for the next one and try and come down!
