  1. I can highly recommend Designer Drapes in Penge: https://www.designerdrapes.co/
  2. I think you may be able to take them to small claims court yourself without a solicitor.
  3. You can complain to Thames Water and then, if not satisfied, to Consumer Council for Water. The latter help us to sort our issue with Thames Water.
  4. I have two recommendations for you: Designer Drapes in Penge. They came to our house to measure up & price and later on to install. https://www.designerdrapes.co/ I also used Elly Allen. https://www.ellyallen.com/about Good luck.
  5. In my opinion, this review/survey is totally biased, questions are structured in such a way that the end result will end up being in favour of these measures we are suffering from. I took it as a deliberate way by the council not to recognise our views, i.e. misrepresent our opinions. 7. London mayor is Labour, our Council is Labour. Still no brown bin sticker today, Royal Mail just delivered the daily post. alex_b Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Kaa Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > I paid 40 quid early March and still no > sticker. > > Post (Royal Mail) arrive daily, so I blame > > Southwark Council, very very unhappy with them, > > Labour is not getting my vote this May. > > > It isn?t a council election this May, just mayor > and assembly.
  8. And Dulwich Alliance https://dulwichalliance.org/, they are collecting to fight road closures.
  9. I paid 40 quid early March and still no sticker. Post (Royal Mail) arrive daily, so I blame Southwark Council, very very unhappy with them, Labour is not getting my vote this May.
  10. We have had some electrical work done recently, contacted a number of local electricians for estimates, unfortunately responses were not impressive (some did not turn up at all, some offered a verbal quote but refused to provide a written quote, another gave verbal indications on cost when here, then doubled the estimate once written down, etc.). We were struggling to get the work done. We found Ben Archard on the Herne Hill forum. He turned up when he said he would, his quote was detailed and on time. He provided clear advice where asked, both before and after we hired him. He was pleasant to work with, the work was neat and clearly explained. We have our certificate and registration quickly. Will use him again and happy to recommend to others. https://www.benselectrics.com/contact-us/ Mobile: 07957 629 892
  11. can somebody please explain to me how can smart meter save energy, as it's just a meter.
  12. If anyone is looking for a good driving instructor, I can highly recommend Silvano Bozza. I?m a woman of over 40 and passed my test yesterday (first attempt). I can not thank him enough for his patience (and he needed lots in my case). He is very professional, was always on time for our lessons and very accommodative when I needed extra time/lessons just before the test. His contract details: [email protected] 07702615834
