Hmm the roof was repaired recently with no damp now but they couldn't be bothered to re plaster and paint the affected walls before putting but on the market for 1.2million.

Call me a cynic but anything that Foxtons describe as a development opportunity is going to need more than new carpets and a quick luck of magnolia paint.

I am interested in viewing it, but I didn't get a call back from the estate agents so I went around to see the property from the outside and the postman told me it was definitely occupied as of 10 August. Those photos have been up since the original listing in the spring. So someone is living in the house.

    • We just had to have a fair bit of roofing done, along with new guttering and facia replacement (swapping out wooden for pvc) Also chimneys needed repointing & had problems with a large roof light. we didn’t know why we had damp in certain parts of the living room & turns out water was getting in via damaged chimneys. we ended up using vintage roofing and building ltd, & have to say they did a great job, scaffolding went up and work started straight away, they were pleasant & respectful of our property, & tidy. they showed us videos of the damage before starting work, & of the work after it was completed. And we have a 20 year guarantee. We live in a Victorian semi  happy to PM you how much it cost us
