We used a guy called Mitch Matthews for our wedding www.djinc.co.uk. He doesn't just do weddings and definitely wasn't your typical wedding DJ. He based in Brighton but travels. Really attentive and called me several times throughout the process to check details. We had so many comments about the music from guests of all ages- don't think the dance floor was less than full all night! Let me know if you need any more info.

I can recommend a great DJ - her name is Amanda and she lives in East Dulwich. She deejayed on my 40th Birthday - great evening - great vibe - great music! She is also the DJ at the Dulwich Hamlet and Dulwich Infant School leavers party every year. Not to mention that she deejays at numerous festivals throughout the year, for example the Bestival, but also at lots of weddings and Birthdays locally.

She plays any music you request, from old school to whatever is in the charts right now.

You can contact her on her website at www.aquamanda.net!

    • Not local, I know but I swear by the Algerian Coffee Stores in Old Compton St. Fantastic old shop, great staff and huge selection of great coffees.

    • Shame. I wondered why they were asking for donations to help with running costs in last weeks issue. Been buying it for many years but only recently was thinking of giving it a miss as over the past couple of years it had become too politicised. Their South London Opinion page was particularly biased.
