Glass hire for party

Is there anywhere locally to hire glasses and plates for a party.

Need approx: 30 wine glasses

Friends of mine recently had a wedding, and found it worked out cheaper to just buy beer and wine glasses (not sure about plates) rather than rent them from the venue they were using OR from any local company. Those places tend to have nicer glasses, yes, but they'll charge you a small fortunate for breakages and a decent fee just for the rental.

Their solution was to go to a pound shop and also order some stuff from eBay - might be worth looking into depending on what responses you get.
