That's good. A familiar fac eis alwys reassuring to me if I'm out single handed with both babies.

Claire is fantastic, I think the best of the the classes we've done. My son gave her a run for her money, he gets pretty wound up and strange at classes for some reason, but Claire was really lovely with him. She also encourages moms to sit back and relax while she does the class, which is a nice change. I would highly recommend her.

Sorry I didn't get much of a chance to chat ladies, we ended up leaving while you were in the class (after it turns out Pickle #2 doesn't actually like bubbles, great!). Pickle #1 is now a leopard, and seemed to have a ball.

Chaotic, but a great turnout. Hope you both had a fun morning.

I managed to get here too, but later, after lunch, so I don't know whether there were any other Forumites around. My two played in the garden then attended one of the classes, which they both loved, being two boys (4 and 2) amongst a load of girls. Thought the Bubble trainer was just perfect. Then did a bit of drawing, colouring whilst having a drink. Didn't get to chat much but as Pickle says was chaotic and the time we got there it felt a little like things were winding down. Still nice to have a change and a trip on top deck of the 185 is an adventure in itself for the little ones.

    • Using the smart CCTV cameras is your best strategy - particularly if they have adequate infra-red capability. Setting them to be triggered by line crossing or areas of intrusion is worthwhile setting up as is linking them to a PIR sensor. The PIR could also be used to activate a sounder but that might upset your other neighbours. I have a few cameras around our property and I enjoy reviewing the recordings and apart from foxes and birds, I catch the occasional opportunistic thief on camera - like this one last Tuesday. If you need any help, please drop me a PM. S7.mp4
    • Not in Ed, but I was in NE England over the weekend and saw an otter in the wild! Never seen one before, it was quite lovely.
    • Well unless the heron got them later, there were the  two cootlets. I think some others of this year's babies must have escaped the heron. Many years ago (and possibly still, though I never see them any more) there was a whole heron family on the island  - mum, dad and youngster. I don't know how long herons live. Maybe this one is the grown up youngster.
    • Neighbourhood police, they often get called in for neighbourhood 'disputes', although if you have been Southwark ASBU perhaps you have already explored this
