Piers it is I who needs to get a life. I actually just looked at your number and said it out loud, and I'd say 5 3 3. The reason being, the third and forth of the sixth flow better when finishing and starting the 3s, than they do as a pair. Anyway, I'm off to Millet's to get a new rain proof coat.

I an guilty of crossing my 7s. No idea when it started. I thought it was to make clear that it wasn't a 1 when hand writing.

Oh and London landlines are 3-4-4, other landlines and mobiles are 5-3-3.

My French OH crosses his 7s...apparently so they don't look like a 1. But then his 1 looks like a hairpin on it's ends.
