Hello

We will be having some work done on our flat, starting in November and hopefully finishing by Christmas. I'm looking for 2/3 bed flat or house in East Dulwich or nearby areas to housesit or rent during that period.

We have two children, one at school and one at nursery in East Dulwich. We both work and are clean, tidy and responsible.

Please feel free to PM if you have anything that may be suitable.

Many thanks

Hi,

Our flat is available from 14 November.

It is a three bedroom flat although 2 of the rooms are singles (fine for kids). It's newly renovated and on a family friendly road (Surrey Road, Nunhead) close to Peckham Rye Park. We have relocated but loved living there with our 17 month old.

Let me know if you're still looking - 07878849480.

Thanks

Sara

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
