Hello

I've seen the really useful thread with the 14/15 catchment map and discussion but wondering if there is now the equivalent for this year's intake (15/16)? I couldn't find anything online. The 16/17 process is now starting and I'd be interested to know whether there are any changes in catchments. Does anyone know?

I don't know if anyone has created a map yet. It is usually some publicly minded person on this forum.

However, if you haven't seen them - the distance for Southwark are here:

And Lewisham if you are near the border:

Doesn't look like much change from last year.

NB religious schools and some academies are not there.

Please bear in mind - just because a school Ivydale admitted to 337m last year DOES NOT MEAN they will admit to that distance next year (actually Ivydale is a bad example as they will be admitting 30 more this year than last year, so the intake is likely to reach further).

You would not believe the number of parents who lodge an appeal based on the distance figures.

    • Just wanted to give a huge recommendation for a local electrician, Paul Edgley. He is knowledgeable, thorough, completely focused on sorting out problems and a nice, helpful guy to boot. Another big plus is that he always turns up when he says he will and then cracks on with the job. I have used several electricians over the past couple of years, and generally been very disappointed. Paul was able to come and check out the problems pretty quickly and then got on with sorting them out. I’ve called on him regularly over the past few months and he has never let me down. I found out about Paul on this forum so I’m adding my voice to all the others recommending him.
