Ladies,

I am new to the area and I am looking for half-term camps or classes for my reception age ds. Could you please give me ideas on local sports, arts or activities ran for this coming half term? I am a working mum so I am hoping to set up something in the mornings to then take the afternoon off to stay with him.

Thank you

two that come to mind (both advertised on her if you do a quick search) are Artastic and Nimble arts. My daughter has gone to both and they do full or half days.

Keep a look out in the "what's on " thread as quite a few are advertised there. There are often cooking workshops, sport days, tennis workshops and different drama groups that advertise.

    • Threads that devolve like this should be moved to the Lounge, so the 'comedy' can continue in an appropriate vacuum.
    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.
    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
