A week to go so a rundown of the gist of it for any potential/actual newcomers and a reminder for the rest of us.


Predictions mean the scores not just the result. Points are scored for:


WP Win Point 1pt (not surprisingly) For getting the correct result


MP Margin Point 0.5pts For predicting the result within 5 points of the margin between the teams. In theory you could get this even if you predicted the wrong result.


BP Bonus Point 1pt For predicting the correct result and having the closest margin(as long as it's no more than 15 points). This 1pt may be divided if 2 or more have both


GSP Grand Slam Point 1pt For predicting 3 correct results in a Round.

At last! My Frenchies did what they were supposed to do! Hoping for another two great games on Saturday...


My beloved Fulhamton are on the Telly against the Portugal B team (based in the Black Country) at the same time as The Empire Coinage Melted Cup game...

@CaptainAlanMedic is there an end of tournament get together for bragging rights? (Admittedly I am just trying to stay in front of the bloke who couldn't master entering properly!).

      I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.

      I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
