Where can I buy old photos of East Dulwich?

Just wondering where I could purchase old photos of East Dulwich and the surrounding area, similar to those on the wall in North Cross Road.

Any ideas please?

Is this the newington library as you used to be able to get photos there

Yes, the Local History Library at the rear of the john Harvard library at 211 Borough high Street, SE1 1JA is a great place to start.

Indeed. Your best bet is to go to the Southwark Local History Library, based behind John Harvard Library, on Borough High Street. They have a limited number for sale...but they also have thousands upon thousands of old photographs from all over the London Borough of Southwark.

The staff are very friendly, & they have a very good photocopier there. You can probably take photos of photos too, if you have the right equipment, but not sure what they would charge for that.

Local Studies Library used to get a photographic company/man to copy theirs and then deliver them-not sure if they still do. Looking through some of the drawers and drawers of old photos is amazing!
