Drop in sessions, no need to book.

Weather looks good for the morning (Mon 20th) - we'll be looking for seeds and nuts in the woods and making clay & seed men/ monsters on sticks.

Recommended age, 14m +

This group runs all year (term-time) whatever the weather!

So, dress for the weather, wellies great and as we go further into Autumn waterproof coats and trousers mean the kids can make the most of all the activities without worrying about getting wet or muddy.

Muddy Boots is a children's nature group which runs at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve in Forest Hill every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. Its very hands-on, friendly, relaxed, completely outdoors and aims to let children learn about nature, get grubby, get lots of fresh air and explore this lovely wild green space at their own pace. Each week we have a nature related activity nature and there's digging, watering, a walk in the woods and listening for wildlife. We end up back at our log circle basecamp with a story, snack and songs. Children any age love the peace of the reserve and are very welcome. To engage best with the day's more structured activity, I recommend 14m and over. Younger siblings are very welcome to come along for free. ?6 per child, sibling discount. Meet at the gates on Devonshire Road, opposite Tyson road
