Hi

I have 3 year old twins and we need to use West Dulwich station each morning. It is pretty death defying trying to ge both of them off with the huge gap between the train and platform and lots of commuters wanting to get on.

I was just wondering if others using this station find the same problem or am I using the wrong part of the platform.

I would like to avoid using the car instead but at the moment using WD station is pretty stressful every morning.

Thanks

No, its grim - could you use Sydenham Hill instead (depending where you are travelling to) - much less stressful/fewer people/no gap, although its step access?

Herne Hill is always packed and getting on a train is a nightmare, let alone with kids.

cool I will check out Sydenham Hill. its crazy given there is a school less than 100 yards from the station that it is so dangerous. If it was just one child I could manage or a wee one and and older one but trying to get both girls off the train with their bags is a massive stress. I live in fear one of them slipping or some how getting left with the rest of the commuters into Victoria!

    • Hi all My car was stolen between 1.30pm-1.50pm today in SE22 East Dulwich in South East London. I have of course reported this to the police but not much is being done, so I thought I'd give this a shot. The registration is GM66YOV, though its possible the licence plate may have been changed by now. If you see it anywhere please contact me or the police. Thankyou!
    • Years ago, got my ears pierced, alcohol on site, gun ..done.. Simple.. Gosh, surely your daughter of mothers can recommend  - do you really need to post on forum? Or maybe you home school whatever.. still recovering from shock, posted along the lines of, advice needed about adopting/ buying a dog…. Guess I am now at a age, where I should just keep quiet and pass no comment and read  postings like a “soap” - cheaper than tv licence…

    • I would'nt go locally I'd go to Maria Tash in Liberty..it'll be more expensive but they will do a good job and its their buisness not a 'sideline' to other beauty offerings. https://www.mariatash.com/store-locations/maria-tash-london-liberty?srsltid=AfmBOoqMz7Ev-4YqzrlkePX0n3i5JbiggGYSR9kU5z1p_ajP_jjQKqlt I have no experience of piercing at Polished but I went in to enquire about a manicure and I found the staff attitude pretty rude, looking me up and down when I walked in and just giving off a bad attitude like they just could'nt be bothered maybe because I'm not a glam 30 something? I dont know.
